Unless The Yellow Toucan offers temporary free shipping to select destinations, shipping is paid for by the Purchaser in the amount displayed at the time of check out.

Maps are customized within 1-5 business days after photos are received. The Yellow Toucan does not count Canadian Statutory Holidays as a business day. Once the Map is approved by the Purchaser, it is immediately printed and shipped via Canada Post.

The delivery times are as follows:

  • Canada: approx. 2-6 business days
  • U.S.A.: approx. 5-7 business days
  • International: approx. 7-14 business days

These delivery times are estimates from Canada Post and The Yellow Toucan cannot guarantee them. The Yellow Toucan can not be held responsible for late deliveries by Canada Post.

The shipping rates are as follows (flat rates):

  • Canada: CAD$15.00
  • U.S.A.: CAD$25.00
  • International: CAD$50.00

All parcels will be sent in proper protective packaging and include tracking.

If an item is lost during shipping, the total cost of item, including shipping, will be refunded to the Purchaser by The Yellow Toucan, or a new Map will be sent to the Purchaser at no extra cost.

IMPORTANT: Shipments that leave Canada may be subject to applicable duties and taxes, and are the sole responsibility of the Purchaser. The Purchaser is responsible for all fees, duties, customs and taxes upon delivery.


With the Purchaser approving the Map through a digital file before printing, The Yellow Toucan is confident the Purchaser will be satisfied with the Map. However, if the Purchaser is not completely satisfied with the Map, the Purchaser may notify The Yellow Toucan at up to 30 days from the date the parcel was shipped.

The Yellow Toucan asks that the Purchaser provides their Personal Information, the package tracking number if available and a brief description of the problem. The Yellow Toucan may ask the Purchaser to provide a digital photo of the Map to verify the concerns. These pieces of information are needed before the Map may be considered for a refund or an exchange. Generally, only defective or damaged Maps will be considered for refund or exchange. Refunds and exchanges are granted on a case-by-case basis.

If a refund is accepted, the Map will be refunded at its purchase cost. Original shipping charges are not refundable. The Yellow Toucan may ask the Purchaser to ship the Map back and will pay for the shipping. A credit will be applied to the original method of payment, within a certain amount of days. 

If an exchange is accepted, The Yellow Toucan may ask the Purchaser to ship the Map back and will pay for the shipping. A new Map will be sent upon reception of the initial Map. All returned Maps must be unused and in their original packaging.

Refunds or exchanges are not available after 30 days from the date the parcel was shipped.

Only regular priced Maps may be refunded or exchanged. Unfortunately, sale items cannot be refunded or exchanged.

Any additional costs incurred due to currency conversion, duties, taxes and other customs fees will not be refunded, and are considered the responsibility of the Purchaser.

Maps may not be refunded or exchanged based on colour. Colours may vary slightly from what the Purchaser sees on the monitor compared to the actual print. Monitor settings (colour/resolutions) will differ.

If a Map is damaged during shipping, the Purchaser should contact The Yellow Toucan at within 2 days of delivery. A digital photo of the damaged package and Map may be required in order to file a claim with the shipping provider. A replacement Map will be sent free of charge or the total cost of the Map, including shipping, will be refunded.
